Generosity Generates Happiness; Colorado Gives Day Set for December 6

All support to PBS12 now through December 6 counts towards our goal on Colorado Gives Day and the $1.4 Million Incentive Fund

Denver (November 21, 2022) – PBS12 is one of the thousands of nonprofit organizations participating in Colorado Gives Day 24-hour statewide movement that celebrates and increases philanthropy in Colorado through online giving.

“Our station was founded on the core beliefs that we are a hyper-local nonprofit media organization that has the privilege and the responsibility to tell new and unique stories in a different way – that ultimately, we can have a positive impact by offering local solutions to global problems,” said Kristen Blessman, President and General Manager of PBS12.

Now through Colorado Gives Day on Dec. 6, all donations made to PBS12 on ColoradoGives.org/donate/PBS12 get a boost from the $1.4 million Incentive Fund that increases the impact of every dollar donated.

“We want to create a platform for diversity, inclusivity, critical thinking, and engagement, and Colorado Gives Day allows us to continue our mission of Impact Media for Colorado,” said Blessman.

Donors can support PBS12 several ways. They can make a donation, set up a fundraising page to share with family and friends or ask their employer/company to take the Corporate Challenge and help drive donations.

“With your help on Colorado Gives Day, we will continue to serve our community in a way that no other media outlet does. Your viewpoints matter to us, and they are always welcome,” added Blessman.
